How to use this invoice generator
Fill in your company details (name, address, optional logo URL), your client's details, and the invoice metadata (number, date, due date). Then add line items with description, quantity, unit price, and optional tax rate. The generator auto-calculates line totals, subtotal, tax, discount, and the grand total. Click "Generate Invoice Preview" to see the professional template, then use "Print / Save as PDF" to open your browser's print dialog.
Professional invoice best practices
A well-structured invoice should include: a unique invoice number for tracking, clear payment terms and due date, itemised line items with quantities and prices, applicable tax rates, and your contact information. Including notes or terms at the bottom (such as bank details or late payment policies) helps ensure smooth payment processing.
Saving as PDF
When you click "Print / Save as PDF", your browser's print dialog opens. Select "Save as PDF" as the destination (instead of a physical printer) to download a PDF copy of your invoice. This works in all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari — no additional software required.
