What is structured data?
Structured data is a standardised format (typically JSON-LD) that helps search engines understand the content on your page. By adding schema markup from schema.org, you can qualify for rich snippets in Google — enhanced search results that display star ratings, prices, FAQ accordions, recipe details, event dates and more. Rich results improve visibility and click-through rates.
Supported schema types
This tool supports ten of the most commonly used schema types: Organization and LocalBusiness for company info, Article for blog posts and news, Product for e-commerce, FAQ and HowTo for instructional content, Event for happenings, Person for profiles, Recipe for cooking content, and BreadcrumbList for navigation trails.
How to add schema to your site
Copy the generated JSON-LD code (including the <script> tag) and paste it into the <head> section of your HTML page. Test it with Google's Rich Results Test to verify it's valid. This tool runs entirely in your browser — your data is never sent to any server.
